The Steamship Authority is currently seeking to fill an entry level, full-time Carpenter position.
Qualifications and certifications required: The applicant should have graduated from a vocational technical high school or institute with a focus in carpentry or have 2 to 5 years of experience in general carpentry. Applicant must have a valid Massachusetts Driver's license and should also hold a valid Commonwealth of Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractors License, Construction Supervisors License and Lead Certification Certificate. Applicant must be fully skilled and able to work from sketches and plans and be knowledgeable of the current Commonwealth of Massachusetts building code standards. The starting pay is $38.31 per hour.
